Welcome to WASHINGTON
The Evergreen State

Welcome to Washington, The Evergreen State. With miles and miles of trails, plenty of roadside viewpoints and acres of land set aside for wildlife, Washington has plenty of places to see. In Washington’s mountains you will find backcountry skiing, downhill skiing and snowboarding. There are many resorts that cater to individuals as well as families. Night skiing is a big attraction because in less than two hours from any metropolitan area you can be on the slopes.

There are numerous cultural and historic sites. Such as the Children’s Museum of Tacoma, the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium, the Washington State History Museum, and the Northwest Trek. Take a cruise on the Lady Washington, a replica of the first sailing vessel to explore the Pacific Northwest coast in 1788. Keep your eyes and ears open for great blue herons, osprey and bald eagles. Come on and visit us in Washington and see why this is the place you’ve been trying to get to.

We thank you for choosing Washington Travel Guide to plan your next vacation, and hope that your time spent in Washington is both enjoyable and refreshing.
